Graffiti art by DZIA in Scheutplaneet primary school

At Scheutplaneet Primary School, on the Ninoofsesteenweg in Anderlecht, the well-known graffiti artist DZIA has worked on several facades. This happened in the context of the ‘School Contract’ that is currently being rolled out on this site with the support of the Brussels Region.

This embellishment of various facades (at the entrance of the school, on the playground and at the back of the school) is part of the upgrading of the various school entrances.

There is also a pedagogical angle: DZIA’s work is characterized by attention to local fauna and flora. He also chose to portray animals and plants that are characteristic of the area on the site of Scheutplaneet Primary School.

The students are already impressed with the result. Graffiti does not have the best reputation in the Scheut district, but DZIA’s work shows that it can also be an art form that creates added value for the environment!
