Imelda Institute will open its second school establishment in Etterbeek in 2026!

In September 2026, the Imelda Institute will open a second school establishment in Etterbeek. The Flemish Community Commission (VGC) will convert the old Beobank building, located between the VUB campus and Etterbeek station, into a multifunctional education campus. Pedagogy of the heart in Brussels (Pedagogie van het hart in Brussel)

Johan De Donder, colleague at the Maria-Boodschaplyceum in Brussels, wrote a book on the occasion of Mabo’s eightieth anniversary about the history of the educational activity of the annuntiates in Brussels. The book costs € 15 and can be ordered through the school (info@mabobrussel.be) but is also available in Passa Portabookshop, at the same price. A pack of 12 school postcards is also available for €8.
