This building will house all support services of KatOBA (general policy, pedagogical policy cell, infrastructure cell, prevention cell, ICT cell, material & logistics policy, personnel administration, accounting).

On tuesday the 21st of may 2019 minister Guy Vanhengel laid the first stone of the new construction in primary school Voorzienigheid in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe. This building will host 4 kindergarten classes, a sanitary room and provides also a centrally situated indoor-playground.
The outdoor-playground will also be rebuild as Voorzienigheid can count on a BuitenSpel-fund of the VGC (Flemish Community Commission).

On thursday the 4th of april the new playground of the ‘Instituut van de Ursulinen’ in Koekelberg was inaugurated in presence of Minister Guy Vanhengel. The school received financial support from the ‘BuitenSpel’-fund of the VGC (Flemish Community Commission in Brussels).

On sunday the tenth of june the famous concert hall Flagey hosted the final performance of the El Sistema Festival, ‘Comme ci, Comme ça’ (This way, That way). Pupils of primary schools representing the 3 national languages (from Molenbeek, Schaarbeek, Elsene, Laken and Eupen), together with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, paid homage to the well-known composer Leonard Bernstein and his ‘West Side Story’.
The pupils of Sint-Karel were not only to be found in the choir. 10 of them learned to play the violin this year in wednesday-afternoon music classes. They had the opportunity to share the stage and play along with the professional musicians of the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra!
